Over the last 2-3 years we had been wanting to renovate our home, we had contacted a number of companies and were very disappointed with their poor communication, lack of interest in our ideas and/or inflated quotes. Then my husband was unfortunately diagnosed with MND and due his quick onset of disability, we needed modifications and in a hurry. From my first phone call with Ali I was impressed. He listened to what we required, shared our vision as to how to optimise our space and provided a realistic quote. Then he wasted no time getting the project started. We renovated 2 bathrooms, a laundry and kitchen. He communicated with us every step of the way. You can see in the before and after photos of the bathrooms, they are functional for disability needs without looking clinical. The kitchen he completely opened up to make a beautiful open space that is accessible and functional day to day and now a great space for entertaining visitors. His team did very professional work and were very easy to deal with.There was very good communication with all involved. During the job we made major changes (including adding a wall between the shower and washing machine and moving the door way) One tradesman came on a Sunday to repair an unexpected crumbling wall so as not to hold others. In spite of these changes the renovation was completed  3 weeks and 2 days rather than the 5 weeks as originally quoted! All this at a competitive price. We are very happy with the result. We combined the existing laundry and guest toilet into a single bathroom which required a wall being knocked down. I met Al before the works started but as I was overseas later, he was in contact with my dad the whole time. My parents are in their 60s and english is not their first language. But Al was very easy for them to work with. He also made the process really easy by sourcing all the supplies (the only thing we ordered were the kitchen appliances, everything else was included which made it much easier for my parents to manage). Everything was done on time and my parents are very happy with their newly renovated place. How the Process Works

A bathroom renovation has a lot of moving parts, but the process doesn't need to be stressful. Here's how we run it.

Consultation and quote. We visit your home anywhere in Sydney, measure the space properly, and ask the right questions about how you use the bathroom and what matters most. You get a written, itemised quote with no vague "starting from" figures.
Design and selections. We work through layout options, tile choices, fixture selections and finishes with you. You'll get a clear selection sheet so nothing is ambiguous before work starts.
Planning and approvals. If your property needs strata approval or council sign-off, we manage that process. We also book the licensed trades and lock in your schedule.
Demolition and prep. The existing bathroom is stripped out, any structural or waterproofing issues are addressed, and the space is prepared for the new build.
Plumbing and electrical rough-ins. Licensed trades complete all service work before the walls and floors close up.

Our quotes are fixed and itemised. What we quote is what you pay, as long as the scope stays the same. The one exception is genuinely unforeseen work after demolition, such as discovering that waterproofing failure has caused timber rot, or finding old cast-iron pipes that need replacing rather than extending.

All waterproofing and structural work is completed to Australian Standards, which is what your owners' corporation will require.

What do I receive at the end of the renovation?

At handover you receive compliance certificates for waterproofing, plumbing and electrical work. These are legal requirements under the NSW Home Building Act and they matter well beyond the renovation itself.
